Gel-Sol is the solo project of Seattle-based producer/musician Andrew Reichel. His dichotomous sound spans from ambient soundscapes to complex, rhythmic electronica, creating a dynamic psychedelic universe with heavy emphasis on improvisation. His unique sound has earned him a dedicated following of fans, and he is sure to continue to experiment and push the boundaries of electronic music in the years to come.
Gel-Sol began as a way for Reichel to explore his interest in electronic music and sound design. He started out by making experimental ambient tracks, but he quickly began to incorporate more rhythm and melody into his music. His sound has evolved over time, but it has always been characterized by its sense of space and its organic, improvisational feel.
Gel-Sol has released numerous albums, and has also toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
